If you need to contact the mods about anything, whether it's a simple question about gameplay or an issue with another player, the best way to do that is to comment directly to this entry - All comments here are screened. You can also get a hold of us through AIM and by PM.

Please don't send game related emails to the mods' personal email accounts. Sometimes responses are delayed, as we do quite a lot of consulting with one another, especially in the case of major decisions. Please give us 24 hours to respond to your comment or PM.

Do you want to know what'll happen if your character blows up part of life-support? How badly someone might be pwn'd for defacing one of the maintenance robots? Or do you need to talk to someone about a hiatus or activity? Ask a mod!

×Moderator plot questions
Questions about the current Improbability Drive Event? Curious about something going down on the latest planet? Did we forget to mention when we're planning on ending the event? Hit us up, and we'll let you know!

×Player plot questions
Are you running a plot and need to know something about the ship, what you can and can't do within your plot, or even just need someone to bounce ideas off of? Please ask!

×Applications
These are the people who will be going over your applications! If you have a general question about apps - when is the next deadline, is it possible to app such-and-such character, things of that nature - then drop us a line. PLEASE NOTE: We will not beta read your application, and we can't say anything beyond 'It looks good! Good luck!' if you ask one of us to read it through prior to the application deadline. Applications are discussed as a team, and what one mod might consider acceptable, the other might have reservations about. Just so you know!

×Player Issues
As much as we'd love it if everyone got along and played nicely, we know there are times when personalities and ideas clash. If you're having a problem with another player that you've been unable to resolve on your own, or have a problem that seems to be developing, please IM one of us. We are more than happy to mediate and act as impartial go-betweens to help players work through issues and solve problems.

×List Management
There's rather a lot of information being shuffled around on a lot of different pages on a pretty daily basis - if you notice a mistake (someone's been listed twice on the Rooms List, the Taken Characters page still lists characters who have dropped ages ago, a character's name is misspelled or the incorrect journal is displayed, etc), the easiest way to let us know is actually by commenting directly to the page in question.

×List Management
This is the default duty of the mod helper. Please see the above description for a full explanation.

×Emergency shut-off
When a civil conversation between players is threatening to turn into an uncivil argument and there are no moderators around, the mod helpers are authorized to freeze threads in the interest of keeping the argument from escalating until a moderator is able to step in. If you try to argue with them about it, the mods will be less inclined to be sympathetic towards you when they take over. Fair warning.

×Fellow players
It ought to go without saying that the mod helpers are, first and foremost, players. However, because this is the internet, it doesn't. They have just as much right to express their opinions, comment on or debate, discuss, agree or disagree with anything that's posted or mentioned. If you have a disagreement with one of them, you are not disagreeing with a moderator or with someone who is expressing a moderator's opinion, you are disagreeing with a peer and fellow player.
